We are currently seeking a Technical Support Coordinator to join our energetic and collaborative national team. This is a pivotal role across both delivery and support phases, empowering technical teams to meet key project milestones and achieve their objectives. Your contribution will help drive successful outcomes in complex, high-impact initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate maintenance and repair activities for operational systems and equipment, ensuring timely resolution of issues and effective stakeholder communication.
- Coordinate preventative maintenance schedules, maintenance records, incident logs, and follow-up actions to support operational performance and compliance.
- Maintain accurate asset, configuration, hardware, and software registers, ensuring records remain current and auditable.
- Support document control, change management, and the maintenance of technical manuals, user guides, project documentation, and contractual records.
- Coordinate equipment repairs and Return Material Authorisations (RMAs) with suppliers, customers,
and internal teams, ensuring efficient turnaround times.
- Monitor inventory and spare parts levels, maintain tracking records, prepare quotations, and coordinate procurement and replenishment activities.
- Provide administrative support to the Service Management team, coordinating customer requests, project administration, and ongoing sustainment activities.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Experience in supporting the maintenance, repair, and lifecycle management of Communications & IT infrastructure, including servers and networking equipment.
- Experience in coordinating with external vendors for repairs, service agreements, quotations, and equipment replacement.
- Knowledge of IT asset management, inventory control, and hardware/software lifecycle tracking.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to analyse data and prepare reports using Excel, Power BI, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with document control, version management, and compliance processes.
- Experience working within complex and critical communications systems such as Defence or Government environments or supporting Defence ICT systems will be highly regarded.
- Technical qualifications (minimum Diploma level) in Communications, IT Systems or similar.
