Our client is nestled in the heart of Manly in Brisbane's most iconic eastern bayside district. They are looking for a number of highly skilled and innovative chefs to join their team.

As a chef you will be responsible for

- Menu development reflecting both modern and traditional gourmet culinary trends
- Able to work harmoniously with front of house team to deliver exceptional meals, in line with service standards to guarantee customer satisfaction
- Preparation and production of food items for menu/s to ensure they meet the exceptional standards
- Maintains food preparation handling and correct storage standards
- Adaptable to work across multiple kitchen outlets when rostered
- Maintain inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food costs effectively
- Adhere to strict health, hygiene and safety standards at all times
- Plan and manage portion control




- Provide in kitchen training as required

The applicant must have the following key characteristics

- Good personal hygiene and presentation

Qualifications:

- At least 12 months of experience working in a commercial kitchen, and be trade qualified to at least an AQF Diploma standard or equivalent; or at least 3 years of experience
- The ability to operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently

Salary range $77,000-$80,000 per annum + superannuation.
