The Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced Workforce Solutions Manager to join our Brisbane CBD team (or Perth or Mackay) and take full ownership of our deployed contractor workforce.

This is a newly created role, born from growth and restructuring within our workforce solutions division. You'll be the operational heartbeat of the deployed workforce - managing compliance, welfare, contract administration, and commercial handoffs, while acting as the primary interface between our contractors and internal teams. This role goes beyond coordination as you'll need genuine commercial awareness, a proactive mindset, and the kind of personality that makes contractors actually want to pick up the phone.

What You'll Be Doing

Deployed Workforce Ownership

- Taking full ownership of the deployed workforce from site start through to demobilisation
- Acting as the primary point of contact for placed contractors, conducting regular welfare check-ins particularly for FIFO and remote workers
- Building genuine relationships that make people want to come back to COSOL
- Overseeing all pre-mobilisation requirements through your Mobilisation Coordinator - PPE, devices, medicals, inductions, and site-specific onboarding checklists
- Managing site compliance requirements including tickets, licences, medicals,



and safety documentation throughout each engagement
- Ensuring clean, compliant offboarding when engagements come to an end

Mobilisation & Demobilisation

- Overseeing all pre-mobilisation requirements through your Mobilisation Coordinator - PPE, devices, medicals, inductions, and site-specific onboarding checklists
- Managing site compliance requirements including tickets, licences, medicals, and safety documentation throughout each engagement
- Ensuring clean, compliant offboarding when engagements come to an end

Commercial Awareness & Proactive Resource Management

- Monitoring contract expiry dates and proactively engaging the sales team to pursue extensions
- Reverse marketing available resources back into existing accounts as engagements come to a close
- Acting as a frontline intelligence source - feeding commercial insights and potential opportunities heard on the ground back into the sales function

Compliance, Timesheets & Administration

- Overseeing timesheet approvals and liaising with payroll to ensure accurate, timely processing
- Administering purchase orders and maintaining accurate records across FastTrack360 and JobAdder
- Ensuring all contractors remain site-compliant throughout their engagement





People & Stakeholder Management

- Serving as the key liaison between deployed contractors and our internal People & Culture team
- Escalating performance, conduct, and wellbeing matters through appropriate channels
- Leading and developing one direct report (Mobilisation Coordinator)

What you'll need

- Robust background in workforce coordination, mobilisation, or labour hire operations
- Experience leading or supervising others in an operational setting
- Exposure to the resources, mining, or industrial sectors highly regarded
- Hands‑on experience with workforce management platforms (FastTrack360, Employment Hero, JobAdder) a bonus
- Strong organisational skills with a high attention to detail
- A natural communicator who builds trust quickly with contractors, clients, and internal stakeholders
- Someone who can operate independently, manage competing priorities, and make sound decisions under pressure
