High Voltage Electrician - Mackay Workshop

Joyce Mechanical Services is seeking an experienced High Voltage Electrician to join our Mackay-based team.

This role offers a strong mix of workshop rebuild work on Komatsu 830E haul trucks, combined with onsite maintenance and shift relief support at Dawson Mine. We are specifically looking for candidates with proven experience on Komatsu electric drive haul trucks.

The Role

- Carry out rebuilds, maintenance, diagnostics,



and repairs on Komatsu 830E haul trucks
- Provide onsite field service support and breakdown assistance as required
- Complete fault-finding and troubleshooting on HV systems and electric drive components
- Work both in the Mackay workshop and onsite in a mining environment
- Maintain high safety and workmanship standards at all times

About You

- QLD Electrical Licence and High Voltage certification
- Experience working on Komatsu 830E/930 haul trucks or similar electric drive trucks is essential
- Minimum 1-2 years' experience on Komatsu electric drive haul trucks
- Solid fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Flexible and available for both Monday-Friday workshop work and required 7/7 roster coverage
- Current LVR and CPR
- Current Coal Board Medical and Standard 11 highly regarded
- Safety-focused with a strong work ethic
- Full Australian working rights required
