COSOL is seeking an experiencedfixed plant Mechanical Planner for a mining operation in Queensland. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining maintenance plans and schedules for fixed plant assets, coordinating shutdowns, and working closely with maintenance and operations teams to optimise equipment availability.
DIDO applicants are welcomed from Rockhampton, Gladstone, Emerald, Rolleston, and Blackwater.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain maintenance plans and schedules for fixed plant assets
- Plan and coordinate shutdowns and weekly maintenance activities
- Coordinate labour, materials, and contractor resources to support planned work
- Liaise with supervisors, maintenance teams, and operations to maximise equipment availability
Equipment Experience
- Belt conveyor systems
- Crushers and roller screens
- Stacker reclaimers
- Fixed infrastructure associated with processing plant operations
Requirements
- Strong working knowledge of SAP maintenance planning modules
- Demonstrated experience planning maintenance within a mining fixed plant environment
- Sound planning, scheduling, and communication skills
