We are looking for a reliable and experienced Cafe Supervisor / All-Rounder to join our team at Eling Forest Cafe in the Southern Highlands. This role is especially important to us — we need someone who can confidently run the cafe and supervise the team when the owner is not present.
Key Responsibilities
- Day-to-day management of the cafe, including opening and closing
- Leading and supervising a small team to deliver excellent customer service
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and hygiene
- Managing stock, controlling costs, and minimising waste
- Basic equipment maintenance
What We’re Looking For
- Previous cafe or hospitality experience, ideally in a supervisory or leadership role
- Barista skills are highly regarded (training can be provided if needed)
- Responsible, trustworthy, and able to work independently
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- RSA certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
- Available on weekends and public holidays
- Full Australian working rights
- Local Southern Highlands resident preferred
