Location: 30 minutes from Gundagai, NSW (local candidates preferred; FIFO/DIDO considered)

About The Job

This dual-role position involves the operation, maintenance, and monitoring of wastewater treatment systems at our camps, while also supporting general trade and site activities.

You will play a vital role in keeping our infrastructure running safely, efficiently, and in compliance with environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate, maintain, and monitor wastewater treatment units.

- Conduct inspections, water quality testing, and chemical dosing adjustments.





- Respond to alarms and troubleshoot issues with pumps and filtration systems.

- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on water and waste infrastructure.

- Support camp operations with general trade tasks (site setup, facility upkeep, manual labour).

About You

We are looking for someone who is proactive, reliable, and ready to work both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred skills and qualifications:

- Certificate III in Water Operations, Environmental Science, or a related field (preferred).

- Experience in wastewater treatment plant operations and maintenance.

- Knowledge of water quality testing and compliance standards.

- Ability to operate and troubleshoot pumps, filtration systems, and chemical dosing equipment.

- Construction Industry White Card

- Valid driver's license (4X4 experience preferable)

- Certifications in First Aid, CPR, or other safety training

- Strong problem-solving abilities and physical fitness
