Locations: UK

Duration: Full-time, Permanent

Reports to: Head of IT, UK

Talent Street is looking for a Senior Clinical Systems Manager for one of our clients based in the UK. The candidate can be based anywhere in Australia but must be:

- Willing to relocate to the UK
- Must have working rights in the UK

About the role:

This role is a pivotal position within the UK Information Technology function. The key orientation of the role is to partner with internal stakeholders to deliver on key growth and business objectives.

This role will manage and support all related solutions. This includes applications used across medical oncology, haematology, radiation oncology, diagnostic imaging and covers supporting systems such as billing systems, interfacing and third‑party connections.

The Senior Clinical Systems Manager will work closely with vendors, partners and the wider Clinical Systems team to support their solution delivery. They will have a close working relationship with the UK Infrastructure team who will provide the supporting infrastructure, security and network connectivity to support the applications.

Initially focusing on the current Cancer Centre footprint, this role will lead on the implementation and rollout of clinical systems in line with the growth strategy, across the UK.

Position Requirements / Key Selection Criteria

Education and Certification:

- Tertiary computing related qualification preferred
- Industry certifications related to core systems such as Microsoft technologies, Citrix,



ITIL or Cloud computing certifications
- To demonstrate significant expertise, in the IT industry, preferably obtained in a clinical environment
- Understanding patient management and clinical workflows
- Able to support a variety of IT platforms and environments
- Familiarity with common project management methodologies
- Demonstrable experience of leading a small to medium team or can demonstrate leading large projects including task assignment and resource allocation

Knowledge and Experience:

- Strong technology and systems background
- Experience with clinical information systems
- Advanced knowledge of clinical systems management
- Internal consulting skills
- Strong understanding of technical issue resolution workflow and systems
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to interact in a qualified manner and build relationships with a broad range of people
- Ability to think out of the box & innovate when required
- Knowledge / Experience of operating IT Systems in a regulated

- Focused on supporting the needs of patients i.e., IT’s customers’ customers
- Occasional after-hours’ work for upgrades or urgent issue resolution
- On-Call arrangement participation
- Willing to travel occasionally
- Able to work autonomously and see jobs through to completion with minimal direct supervision
- Be self-motivated and able to solve technical and business-related problems
- Be presentable, courteous and respectful always
