We’re looking for a new or recent graduate physio who wants a strong start, not just a job.

We're primarily recruiting for a physiotherapy graduate to commence in January 2027, although an earlier start may be available for the right candidate.

At Active Physiotherapy Mackay, you’ll get structured support from day one. You won’t be left to figure things out on your own, and you won’t be overloaded early.

What your first 6–12 months will look like

You’ll build a full caseload gradually, with help.

You’ll have regular 1:1 mentoring with a senior physiotherapist, structured onboarding, plus immediate access to experienced clinicians when you get stuck. The focus is on helping you make good decisions, not just getting through appointments.

You’ll treat a mix of patients (MSK, sports, neuro), so you develop broad, useful skills early.



We also love to facilitate our team's interest and help you build a caseload of the patients you enjoy treating. As your confidence grows, we'll help you develop clinical interests and work towards a personalised career pathway within the practice.

The team

You’ll be working alongside a team with mixed levels of experience ranging from second-year graduates to titled physios with higher qualifications. We enjoy our work and help each other out. It’s a qualified environment, but not a high-pressure one.
