As a Cloud Engineer, you will support our critical business applications and cloud infrastructure as well as being responsible for managing elements of design, implementation and support of our Microsoft Azure environment.

This position is designed to take ownership of the Azure cloud environment and support our project charter while implementing solutions according to best practices, governance, security and data resiliency controls, while retroactively reviewing the current workplace and delivering solutions to existing problems.

What You Will Be Working On

As a key part of our Information Services Operations Team, your responsibilities will include:

- Providing operational support for the cloud environment
- Acting as an escalation point for the service desk team and assisting the other infrastructure specialists with issues and managing incidents.
- Supporting a variety of Microsoft and Azure based technologies in use and emerging and determine suitability / proposals for the benefit of the CBHS environment.
- The participation and management of projects and initiatives driven by the IT Operations team or the project management team ultimately supporting the organisational strategy.

You’ll bring:





- 5+ years’ experience as a Systems Administrator / Engineer within a medium sized Information Technology Team.
- 2+ years’ experience working intimately with cloud-based resources.
- Advanced skills administering and troubleshooting Azure, Microsoft Entra ID, M365, Hyper‑V and other common IT enterprise technologies.
- Experience with Azure Cloud Services:
- Azure Web Apps / Function Apps / Logic Apps and App configurations
- Storage Accounts / Data Lakes
- Application Insights
- Vnets, Peerings, Route tables and NSGs
- Application Gateways
- API Management and Azure Front Door
- Enterprise Applications / App Registrations
