Oly Homes is one of Queensland's leading modular home builders, with a full calendar of work booked through to 2027 and beyond. Based at our Yandina manufacturing facility (soon relocating to our new Corbould Park facility in Caloundra), we're looking for an experienced WHS & Quality Systems Manager to lead our safety, quality and compliance systems across our manufacturing and installation operations.
About the role
- Developing and maintaining WHS policies, procedures and management systems.
- Coordinating workplace inspections, risk assessments and incident investigations.
- Managing our ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 management systems and certification requirements.
- Planning and conducting internal audits while coordinating external audits.
- Maintaining WHS documentation, registers and compliance records.
- Delivering WHS inductions, toolbox talks and safety training.
- Providing advice and support to managers, supervisors and employees on WHS matters.
- Identifying opportunities to improve safety, quality and business systems.
- Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (or equivalent).
- Experience in a WHS management or senior advisory role.
- Sound knowledge of WHS legislation and Australian Standards.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Current driver's licence and willingness to travel to installation sites when required.
Highly regarded
- Experience managing ISO 9001 and/or ISO 45001 and/or ISO 14001 systems.
- ISO Internal or Lead Auditor qualification.
- Experience within manufacturing, construction or modular building.
- Diploma in Work Health & Safety or related qualification.
