If you're an experienced automotive professional who enjoys coordinating workflow, supporting technicians, and ensuring vehicles move efficiently through the workshop, this could be the opportunity you've been looking for.

We're currently seeking a Workshop Controller to join the team at our new state-of-the-art Vehicle Processing Facility in Minto, helping drive productivity, quality, and operational excellence across the business.

About the Role

As a key link between technicians, service teams, and operational stakeholders, you'll play an important role in ensuring workshop activities are planned, prioritised, and completed efficiently. Your ability to manage workload, maintain quality standards, and support the team will be critical to the success of the operation.

Key Responsibilities Include:

- Coordinating and distributing work to maximise productivity and workshop efficiency.
- Monitoring job progress and proactively addressing any issues that may impact turnaround times.
- Working closely with internal teams to ensure vehicle completion targets are achieved.
- Conducting quality checks and supporting best-practice workshop processes.
- Promoting a secure, organised, and team-focused working environment.
- Providing leadership, coaching, and technical support to workshop staff.
- Identifying opportunities to improve workflow and operational performance.

About You

You are a strong communicator with excellent organisational skills and a proven ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced automotive environment.

To be successful in this role, you will have:





- Previous experience in an automotive workshop, ideally as a Workshop Controller, Foreman, Leading Hand, or Senior Service Advisor.
- A Mechanical Trade Qualification or significant technical automotive experience.
- Demonstrated experience managing workshop workflow and technician productivity.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to guide, motivate, and support a team.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Sound computer skills, including experience with workshop management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- A current Australian Driver's Licence.
