2 Days 2 Nights - 4 Days off with Loading I Brisbane | Contract or Permanent
We are seeking experienced Mechanical Shift Fitters to join a tier‑one industrial organisation as they expand operations in Brisbane.

Roster & Conditions
- 12.5-hour rotating shifts (days & nights)
- 4 on 4 off
- Site operates on public holidays (penalty rates apply)
- Overtime rates paid for weekend or additional shifts and shift loadings
Key Responsibilities
- Mechanical maintenance and fault finding on industrial plant and equipment
- Preventative and corrective maintenance
- Supporting commissioning and ramp-up of new equipment
- Ensuring safe operation in a high-risk, safety-critical environment
- Working collaboratively within a shift-based maintenance team
About You / Requirements
- Trade qualified Mechanical Fitter (Cert III or equivalent)
- Certificate III Mechanical Fitting qualification can be obtained during employment
- Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments
- Minimum experience required in industrial or manufacturing environments is less than 1 year
- Strong fault-finding and breakdown maintenance skills
- Basic exposure to breakdown maintenance experience is required
- Comfortable working rotating day and night shifts
- Solid understanding of isolations, lock-out/tag-out and protected work practices
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics
- Full Australian work rights required
Experience with conveyors, rotating equipment, gearboxes, hydraulics and pneumatics will be highly regarded.
