The Opportunity
We're looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Lead / Collections Officer to take ownership of aged debt, accelerate collections and help maintain strong cash flow across the business.
You'll work closely with branch managers, finance teams and clients to resolve payment issues, reduce outstanding debt and drive collection performance. If you're commercially minded, solutions-focused and enjoy building relationships while achieving results, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Be Doing
- Manage aged debt and achieve debtor day targets
- Follow up outstanding accounts and negotiate payment plans
- Prepare invoices, statements and debtor reporting
- Resolve invoice queries and payment disputes
- Reconcile accounts, receipting and banking activities
- Partner with branch managers on collection strategies
- Support specialised billing processes including NDIS, DVA and Lifetime Care
About You
- Proven experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit Control or Collections
- Robust negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and reconciliation accuracy
- Confident managing difficult conversations professionally
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Comfortable working with finance systems and reporting tools
