About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Inside Sales & Customer Support Representative to join our team at our Moss Vale NSW location on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be the key point of contact for our customers, providing both sales support and exceptional customer service. You will play a vital role in driving revenue growth whilst ensuring our customers receive the support they need to make informed purchasing decisions. This position is integral to maintaining our reputation for outstanding service and building lasting customer relationships.

Key responsibilities

- Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels with professionalism and product knowledge
- Manage the full sales cycle for incoming and outbound leads, including qualifying prospects, presenting product solutions, and closing sales
- Provide expert product recommendations based on customer requirements and application needs
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery and proper documentation
- Maintain detailed and accurate customer records and sales information in the company database
- Address customer concerns and complaints professionally, working towards swift resolution and customer satisfaction
- Follow up with customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for repeat business
- Collaborate with the warehouse, logistics, and technical teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment and customer support




- Contribute to sales targets and key performance indicators whilst maintaining high service standards
- Stay updated on product specifications, pricing, and company policies to provide accurate information to customers

What we're looking for

- Proven experience in inside sales, customer service, or a similar customer-facing role
- Experience in Industrial & Protective coatings, manufacturing, construction products, chemicals or industrial products (advantageous but not essential).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems; experience with sales databases is advantageous
- A solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to identify customer needs and provide appropriate recommendations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in order processing and record-keeping
- Genuine enthusiasm for customer service and a commitment to exceeding expectations
- Previous experience in the coating, chemical, industrial, or manufacturing sectors is desirable but not essential
- Willingness to develop product knowledge and expand technical understanding over time
