NSE Electrical QLD is seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our team in Hervey Bay, QLD. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to work on diverse electrical projects across the region. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment for both residential and commercial clients. This role is fundamental to delivering high-quality electrical services and maintaining our reputation for excellence in the Hervey Bay area.

What you’ll be doing

Installing, testing, and commissioning electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in residential, commercial, and industrial settings

Diagnosing electrical faults and performing repairs and maintenance on existing installations

Ensuring all work complies with relevant electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations

Using hand and power tools safely and effectively to complete electrical tasks

Testing electrical systems to ensure they are functioning correctly and safely

Providing excellent customer service and communicating clearly with clients about work progress and requirements

Maintaining accurate records of work completed and materials used

Collaborating with other tradespeople and team members on project sites

Adhering to health and safety procedures and promoting a safe working environment

What we’re looking for

Current and valid electrical licence recognised in Queensland

Proven experience working as an Electrician in residential, commercial, or industrial environments

Solid knowledge of electrical systems, wiring practices, and troubleshooting techniques

Thorough understanding of electrical safety standards and building codes relevant to Queensland





Proficiency with electrical testing equipment and diagnostic tools

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport to attend job sites across the Hervey Bay region

Strong communication and customer service skills

Physical fitness and ability to work at heights and in confined spaces where required

First Aid certification is desirable
