WholeLife Healthfoods Markets Mt Gravatt is seeking a creative and self-motivated Social Media & Content Coordinator to help grow our online presence and strengthen our connection with the local community.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves storytelling, content creation, and digital marketing. You'll be responsible for showcasing our products, promotions, team culture, and health and wellness offerings across our social media channels while helping drive brand awareness, engagement, and store traffic.

About the Role

Working closely with store leadership, you'll take ownership of our local social media presence, creating relevant and engaging content that reflects our brand and resonates with our customers.

This role is ideal for someone who can work independently, generate creative ideas, and turn them into compelling content across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation

- Create engaging photo and video content for social media platforms

- Develop content calendars and plan monthly campaigns

- Produce reels, stories, posts and short‑form videos

- Capture in‑store promotions, product launches, events, and team highlights

- Write engaging captions and calls‑to‑action

Social Media Management

- Manage and grow local social media channels including Facebook, Instagram and TikTok

- Schedule and publish content

- Monitor comments, messages and customer engagement





- Assist in responding to enquiries in a professional and timely manner

- Identify opportunities to increase reach and engagement

Marketing & Community Engagement

- Promote store campaigns, specials and events

- Collaborate with suppliers on promotional opportunities

- Build relationships with local businesses, health practitioners and community groups

- Support in‑store marketing initiatives

Reporting & Performance

- Monitor social media performance and engagement metrics

- Provide regular reporting and recommendations

- Identify trends and opportunities to improve content performance and audience growth

About You

We're looking for someone who brings creativity, initiative, and a genuine passion for social media and content creation.

You will ideally have:

- Previous experience managing business social media accounts

- Photography and video creation skills

- Experience creating Instagram Reels, TikTok content, and short‑form video

- Excellent written communication skills

- Knowledge of current social media trends and best practices

- Strong organisational and time management skills

- The ability to work independently and manage multiple projects

Desirable

- Experience using Canva, Meta Business Suite, CapCut or similar design and editing platforms

- Experience within health, wellness, retail, beauty, fitness, pharmacy or related industries
