Our client is a nationally recognised development organisation responsible for delivering some of Australia's most ambitious and architecturally significant projects.

With an exceptional pipeline spanning premium residential, luxury hospitality and mixed-use developments, they are seeking to appoint an outstanding Senior Design Manager to join their executive project leadership team in Melbourne.

This role will appeal to an Architect who has successfully transitioned into design management within a Tier One construction, major development or large-scale project delivery environment and is looking to influence projects at the very highest level.

Working across multiple landmark developments, you will take ownership of the design management process from project inception through to completion, ensuring exceptional design intent is maintained while delivering commercial, technical and construction outcomes of the highest standard.

This highly influential position will see you working alongside executive leadership, internal development teams, leading architects, consultants and constructors.

Key responsibilities include:

- Leading multidisciplinary consultant teams throughout the complete project lifecycle
- Driving consultant performance across architecture, interiors and engineering disciplines
- Managing procurement input, tender evaluation and contractor engagement
- Maintaining rigorous programme, budget and quality control throughout delivery
- Protecting design integrity whilst ensuring practical and commercially successful project outcomes
- Undertaking detailed design and site reviews to ensure completed projects achieve world-class architectural and interior outcomes
- Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders, consultants and construction partners to consistently deliver outstanding project outcomes





We are seeking an individual who combines outstanding technical expertise with commercial acumen, strategic industry insights and exceptional leadership capability.

The successful applicant will demonstrate:

- Qualifications in Architecture with extensive industry experience
- A proven track record within Tier One construction, major developments or luxury project environments
- Significant experience delivering complex residential, hospitality, mixed-use projects
- Exceptional consultant management, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills
- Outstanding leadership and communication skills
- Strong commercial awareness supported by exceptional technical knowledge
- The confidence and experience to influence design and construction outcomes at an executive level

Must be a outstanding communicator, technically excellent and have the capacity to exert robust control over project outcomes.

A remuneration package of circa $330,000 plus relocation costs and an attractive incentive programme is on offer in order to secure the outstanding industry professional capable of operating at this level.
