Lead the operations of an established medical and aesthetic clinic

A well-established, privately owned medical aesthetics and skin clinic is seeking an experienced, highly organised and commercially minded Practice Manager / Clinic Operations Manager.

This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who takes ownership, maintains high standards and knows how to create a reliable, accountable and positive workplace.

You will work closely with the clinic owner and medical director to ensure the clinic operates smoothly, patients receive an exceptional experience and the team consistently follows established systems and procedures.

About the role

As Practice Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the clinic and be the key point of accountability for staff, patient experience, administration and operational performance.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Leading, supporting and managing the clinic team
- Managing staff rosters, attendance and daily responsibilities
- Setting clear expectations and holding team members accountable
- Ensuring reception, bookings, deposits and patient follow-up processes are completed accurately
- Reviewing appointment schedules and improving clinic utilisation
- Maintaining a consistently high standard of patient service




- Managing patient concerns calmly and professionally
- Ensuring clinic policies, procedures and checklists are followed
- Coordinating staff onboarding, training and development
- Conducting regular team meetings and performance discussions
- Monitoring stock levels and coordinating orders
- Managing supplier relationships
- Supporting recruitment and staff retention
- Reviewing clinic performance indicators, including bookings, cancellations, deposits, rebooking and treatment conversion
- Identifying operational problems and implementing practical solutions
- Supporting clinic marketing campaigns and events
- Maintaining confidentiality and professional standards within a medical environment
- Reporting clearly to the clinic owner while independently managing daily operations

About you

You are proactive, dependent and comfortable taking responsibility.

You notice problems, communicate clearly and follow tasks through to completion without needing repeated reminders.

You will ideally have:

- Previous experience as a Practice Manager, Clinic Manager or Operations Manager
- Experience within a medical, specialist, dental, cosmetic, skin or allied-health clinic
- Strong leadership and people-management skills
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
- Confidence managing staff performance and difficult conversations




- Strong patient-service and communication skills
- The ability to create structure and maintain consistent systems
- Commercial awareness and an understanding of clinic performance
- Experience using practice-management or booking software
- Confidence using Microsoft Office, email and online business systems
- A calm, professional and solutions-focused approach
- The ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality

Experience within cosmetic medicine or medical aesthetics would be advantageous but is not essential. Solid practice-management experience and the right leadership qualities are more important.
