Early Childhood Trainee

Nabiac Preschool is seeking an enthusiastic, reliable and caring individual to join our team as an Early Childhood Trainee.
This is an exciting opportunity to earn while you learn by completing a nationally recognised Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care. Working alongside our experienced educators, you will gain valuable hands-on experience while helping to provide high-quality education and care for children in a supportive and welcoming environment.
About the Role
As an Early Childhood Trainee, you will:
- Assist educators in providing high-quality education and care for children.
- Build positive and respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues.
- Support children's learning through engaging, play-based experiences.
- Help maintain a safe, inclusive, clean and welcoming learning environment.
- Learn about the National Quality Framework (NQF), Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), Child Secure Standards and the National Principles for Child Safe Organisations.
- Actively contribute to creating a culture where children feel protected, respected, included and heard.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a genuine passion for working with children.
- Is enthusiastic, motivated and eager to learn.
- Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Is reliable, caring and committed to providing high-quality education and care.
- Demonstrates a commitment to child safety, child protection and the rights of children.
- Understands, or is willing to learn, their legal and ethical responsibilities in recognising,
responding to and reporting child safety concerns.
- Holds (or is willing to obtain before commencing employment) a current NSW Working with Children Check.
- Is willing to enrol in and successfully complete a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Be available to work between the hours of 7.30am and 5.30pm
