Position Overview: HALS is seeking a versatile and motivated Factory Hand to join our energetic team. As a Factory Hand, you will be an all-rounder, contributing to various aspects of our business. You will operate yard machinery such as skid steers and front-end loaders and must hold a valid forklift license.

Responsibilities:

- Operate factory plant and equipment to bag product.
- Operate yard machinery including skid steers and front-end loaders for material handling and site maintenance.
- Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, and move products within the warehouse and yard.
- Assist with general factory and yard duties, including bagging and stacking product,



cleaning and organising warehouse space and loading customers with yard machinery.
- Prepare factory for next days production
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and maintain high safety standards.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

- Valid forklift license is essential.
- Experience operating yard machinery such as skid steers and front-end loaders is desired.
- Experience with Vertical Form Fill Seal machines is desired.
- Strong commitment to safety protocols and procedures.
- Versatility and willingness to perform a variety of tasks.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Enthusiasm for horticultural, garden and landscaping products is a plus.
