We have an exciting opportunity for a nurturing and compassionateCommunity Support Workerto join our team at Mounties Care to provide support for our wonderful clients acrossCurrumbin,QLD, on aCasual or Part-time basis.
More specifically, some of your duties may include:
- Accompanying clients during daily activities running errands and going on outings
- Food preparation and shopping
- Assisting in personal care and hygiene such as showering and dressing
- Performing household tasks such as cleaning, washing and folding clothesProviding social interaction and companionship
- Transport to appointments
ABOUT YOU
The ideal candidate will ideally have:
- Hold a Certificate 3 in Individual Support or similar qualification - essential
- Previous experience in aged care or disability – at least one year
- Hold a NDIS clearance - or willing to obtain
- Hold a COVID-19 Vaccination
- Current Police Check – or willing to obtain
- Current First Aid Cert including CPR – or willing to obtain
- Must have own car & relevant insurances
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills
