Regular work schedule with reliable working hours. Good salary based on skills, experience, and work performance. Task & responsibilities Planned, prepared, seasoned, and cooked a wide variety of meals in accordance with approved menus, recipes, and customer requirements.

Assisted in planning menus, estimating food requirements, and maintaining appropriate stock levels to support efficient kitchen operations. Monitored the quality of raw ingredients and inspected finished dishes to ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control. Supervised food preparation and coordinated kitchen activities to ensure timely service during busy restaurant and function periods.

Ordered, received, and stored food supplies, ensuring correct stock rotation and minimizing food wastage.



Ensured compliance with Food Safety, HACCP, and Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) regulations by maintaining high standards of hygiene and sanitation. Trained, supervised, and supported junior chefs and kitchen staff in food preparation techniques, safe work practices, and quality standards.

Operated and maintained commercial kitchen equipment safely while ensuring a clean, organized, and effective kitchen environment. Prepared meals for functions, events, and special dietary requirements while maintaining quality and consistency. Worked closely with the Head Chef and front-of-house team to deliver excellent ustomer service and maintain efficient kitchen operations.

Qualification & experience Strong food preparation and cooking skills Knowledge of menu planning Good food presentation and plating skills Understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene Stock control and FIFO inventory management Ability to work well under pressure in busy service periods Teamwork and clear communication skills Leadership and staff training abilities Relevant qualification in hospitality About Company
