About the roleWe are seeking an inspirational educator to become a key member of the team at Bradfield Senior College. As part of the senior leadership team, the Learning Coordinator plays a vital role in shaping and driving the school’s vision and values. This enviable Performing Arts position offers a unique opportunity to influence innovative approaches to learning and teaching, as well as the chance to contribute meaningfully,
to the development of a dynamic educational environment.The Learning Area Coordinator role encompasses and oversees the delivery of HSC Drama, Dance and Music, as well as a rich suite of TAFE vocational courses in Screen & Media, Music, Entertainment and Events.
TAFE NSW will proudly host the NSW Creative and Performing Arts Conference (CAPA) in November 2026 at Bradfield Senior College, during which educators throughout the state will engage in shared professional development, in response to pertinent new syllabuses across the 7-12 spectrum of HSC and vocational courses, providing a rich networking opportunity for professional learning, discussion and debate.
About You We are seeking an exceptional leader, who embodies innovation and collaboration whilst striving for excellence in their work. Our ideal candidate will meet the following essential criteria:Tertiary teaching qualifications and Stage 6 experience in the teaching of an HSC Performing Arts discipline;Demonstrated leadership skills in delivering programs and projects, working with a diverse range of staff and students;Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build highly productive relationships through professional engagement with students, parents and Bradfield staff;Strong administrative skills and experience in planning and management of faculty resources andKnowledge of TAFE NSW, the Department of Education and New South Wales Education Standards Authority policies and procedures.
Highly Regarded: Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or willingness to undertake
