MC Fuel Tanker Driver - Local Work | Full Training Provided

Barrellson Haulage is a locally owned bulk fuel transport company servicing Central Queensland since 2011.

We are seeking an MC Fuel Tanker Driver to join our Rockhampton-based operation, with an anticipated commencement in August 2026.

This role will suit a reliable and safety-focused driver looking for stable, long-term local employment with a family-owned business that takes pride in its people and well-maintained equipment.

Previous fuel tanker experience is not essential, with full training provided.

About the Role

You will load fuel at terminals and deliver to retail sites, commercial customers and bulk depots throughout Central Queensland.

Key responsibilities include:

- Safely operate MC fuel tankers

- Complete pre-starts and report maintenance concerns

- Load and unload in accordance with safety procedures

- Complete manifests, delivery paperwork and compliance records





- Follow fatigue-management and dangerous goods requirements

- Maintain trucks and tankers in a clean and safe condition

- Communicate effectively with scheduling, customers and team members

- Work across rotating day and night shifts

Skills and Experience

- Current MC driver licence

- Current Dangerous Goods driver licence

- Current Safe Load Pass

- Current BFM accreditation

- Demonstrated heavy-vehicle driving experience

- Solid safety and compliance focus

- Reliable and consistent work history

- Ability to complete paperwork accurately

- Comfortable working independently and following procedures

- Physically able to climb tankers and handle fuel hoses

All required licences and accreditations must be current before training commences.

Previous tanker, fuel or dangerous goods experience is advantageous but not essential.

Applicants with automatic and/or manual heavy-vehicle experience are encouraged to apply.
