InflowData is seeking a talented Data Migration Developer / Consultant to join our growing team. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our delivery of data migration solutions and consulting services. You will work on complex data migration projects, translating client requirements into robust technical solutions whilst providing expert guidance throughout the migration lifecycle. This role is essential to our mission of helping organisations successfully transition their data infrastructure, and you will have a direct impact on client success and organisational growth.

Key responsibilities

- Design and develop data migration strategies and solutions tailored to client requirement and business objectives
- Execute end-to-end data migration projects, including assessment, planning, implementation and validation phases
- Write and optimise code for data extraction, transformation and loading (ETL) processes using industry-standard tools and technologies
- Conduct data quality assessments and implement validation frameworks to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Collaborate with clients, project managers and cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver solutions
- Provide technical consulting advice on data migration approaches, tools, best practices and risk mitigation strategies
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide post-migration support to ensure smooth transitions
- Document migration processes, methodologies and lessons learnt to support future projects and team knowledge sharing
- Stay current with emerging data migration technologies, tools and industry standards

What we're looking for

- Proven experience as a Data Migration Developer or similar role, ideally within a professional services or consulting environment
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C# or SQL
- Solid understanding of ETL tools (e.g. SSIS, LTMC, BODS, Datasphere or similar)
- Experience with database technologies including relational databases (SQL Server,



Oracle, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases
- Demonstrated ability to analyse complex data landscapes and design effective migration strategies
- Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for data migration initiatives
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically about data challenges
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience in consulting or client-facing technical roles is highly desirable
- Knowledge of data governance, security and compliance considerations in migrations
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in data management, software development or cloud technologies are advantageous
