BreastScreen Queensland Ipswich Service is currently seeking a radiographer who will be a highly valued member of a multidisciplinary team performing high-quality mammograms, participating in assessment clinics, and providing a high standard of care, support, and advice to clients. The service operates from the main site at the Ipswich Health Plaza, a satellite service at Yamanto and mobile vans sites throughout the West Moreton catchment.

About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Demonstrated skills and experience in radiography, preferably within the field of mammography.
- Build rapport with patients and demonstrate empathy, patience and respect in the delivery of a flexible service that meets patients' needs.
- Demonstrates respect, honesty and integrity for others, remaining flexible, fair and willing to compromise when dealing with team members.
- Understands and adheres to quality systems and processes and proactively identifies areas for improvement.
- Demonstrates direction and vision for self-development, showing initiative in learning and a willingness to share information with others.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
- Possession of a degree in Medical Radiation Technology or equivalent.
- Licence to Use Irradiating Apparatus issued by Radiation Health – Queensland.
- Possession of / or working towards, a Certificate of Mammographic Practice (CMP) issued by Australian Society of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (ASMIRT) or equivalent.
