We work with tier-one EPCs and developers and are known for practical problem-solving, strong site execution and getting work done safely and efficiently in tough conditions.

JOB OVERVIEW:

The Operations Manager is responsible for the successful operational delivery of all Solar Farm Constructions projects.

The role provides leadership across Construction Managers, Project Managers and operational support functions to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, profitably and to the expected quality standards.

The Operations Manager is responsible for translating company strategy into operational execution by ensuring projects are appropriately resourced, systems are consistently applied, risks are proactively managed and project teams are supported to achieve outstanding outcomes.

This role works closely with the CEO, Commercial, HSE, HR and Finance teams to improve operational performance, maximise resource utilisation and deliver continuous business improvement.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

Lead the operational delivery of all company projects, ensuring protected, effective and profitable execution.

Provide leadership, support and direction to Construction Managers, Project Managers and operational teams.

Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and in accordance with contractual obligations.

Oversee project performance, identifying and addressing operational risks, issues and barriers to delivery.

Coordinate labour,



plant and resources across projects to maximise operational efficiency and productivity.

Lead workforce planning, project mobilisation and future resource forecasting in collaboration with HR and senior management.

Monitor project budgets, profitability and operational performance, implementing improvements where required.

Develop, implement and continuously improve operational systems, processes and standards across the business.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders throughout project delivery.

Support tendering, project planning and pre-construction activities by providing operational expertise.

Mentor and develop Construction Managers and Supervisors, promoting leadership, accountability and continuous improvement.

Escalate significant operational, commercial or contractual risks to the CEO and recommend appropriate solutions.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN YOU:

Extensive experience managing multiple civil or renewable energy construction projects.

Strong leadership and people management capability.

Excellent operational planning and resource allocation skills.

Ability to analyse project performance and financial information.

Strong understanding of construction methodologies, plant and equipment.

Experience leading geographically dispersed project teams.

Ability to make sound decisions under pressure.

Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Commitment to continuous improvement.

High level organisational and planning skills.

Strong understanding of HSE obligations and quality management systems.
