Role Purpose

We are seeking a qualified Project Engineer to support the Vertical Transport sales team during the pre-contract phase and independently manage projects post-sale, ensuring timely delivery and installation across our project portfolio.

As this is a dual-focus role, you will work closely with the Vertical Transport team locally as well as overseas, to interpret client needs, prepare technical proposals, and coordinate project execution from design through to handover.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct site inspections and technical assessments in support of the Vertical Transport team.

Prepare technical specifications and documentation to accompany sales proposals.

Confirm elevator specifications, pit dimensions, shaft conditions, and compliance requirements against project documentation, as well as relevant AS Standards and NCC.

Maintain regular technical communication with clients, consultants, and builders.

Project Management





Develop and manage project execution plans covering design, manufacturing, installation and commissioning.

Oversee both direct installation teams and subcontractors to ensure that safety and installation standards are met.

Coordinate cross-functional collaboration between Engineering, Research and Development, Manufacturing, and installation teams.

Ensure timely project close-out and defect resolution.

Required Qualifications

2-3 years of experience in the Vertical Transport Industry

A tertiary qualification in Building or Engineering and/or an Electrical or Mechanical Trade Certificate is preferred.

Electrical license is desirable

Demonstrated experience managing and coordinating subcontractors and enforcing safety and installation standards.

Strong planning and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple project milestones simultaneously

Solid understanding of WHS/Safety requirements relevant to the building industry

Proficiency in Autocad or similar drawing tools desirable

Current driver’s license and available to travel regionally and interstate.
