We are seeking an experienced Property Manager to join our growing family at Jonny Warren Properties. This is a full-time position based in Fyshwick, ACT. As Property Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to‑day operations of residential properties, ensuring tenant satisfaction, maintaining property standards, and maximising returns for our clients. This role is strategically important to our business, as effective property management directly impacts tenant retention, property valuation, and company reputation in the residential leasing sector.

Key responsibilities

- Managing residential properties on behalf of landlords, including advertising, tenant screening, and lease agreement preparation
- Collecting rent payments and managing financial records, including invoicing, accounting and budget management
- Conducting regular property inspections to ensure maintenance standards are met and identifying any necessary repairs or upgrades
- Responding promptly to tenant inquiries, complaints and maintenance requests, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently
- Co-ordinating maintenance, repairs and contractor services whilst managing budgets and obtaining competitive quotes
- Enforcing lease terms and managing tenant compliance, including handling late payments and lease violations
- Preparing detailed property reports for landlords, including financial statements and property condition assessments
- Marketing vacant properties through appropriate channels to minimise vacancy periods
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation for all properties under management
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with tenants, landlords, contractors and service providers

What we're looking for

- Proven experience in residential property management, ideally managing multiple properties simultaneously
- Strong knowledge of residential tenancy laws and regulations, particularly in the Australian Capital Territory




- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage conflict professionally
- Proficiency in property management software and general computer applications, including Microsoft Office
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
- Sound financial literacy, including experience with rent collection, budgeting and financial reporting
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of property maintenance
- Professional qualifications in property management or real estate are advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, trustworthy and customer-focused approach to service delivery
