One of Australia’s leading Federal Government departments is looking to engage2 experienced Registered Pharmaciststo support the evaluation of prescription medicine applications. The successful Pharmacists will be offered an initial12-month contract, working full-time from theCanberra office, with the view to extend or transition to permanent.

The successfulPharmacistswill be responsible for, but not limited to:

Evaluating and finalising minor variation applications for prescription medicines within a regulatory framework.

Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues relating to prescription medicine submissions.

Providing legislative and clinical advice as a subject matter expert within the branch.





Contributing to process improvements, strategic planning, administrative tasks and Trade Name team activities.

The successfulPharmacistswill have experience in the following:

Current registration as a practising Pharmacist withAHPRA.

Strong analytical skills, professional judgement and the ability to make balanced decisions.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with solid stakeholder engagement ability.

High-level organisational skills, initiative and the ability to manage competing priorities under pressure.
