About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Officer with Document Control experience to join our Queensland Projects team.
Reporting to the Program Manager – East, this role plays a critical part in supporting the successful delivery of projects through effective project coordination and document control. Working closely with project teams, clients, contractors and internal stakeholders, you will ensure project information is managed accurately, compliantly and efficiently throughout the project lifecycle.
This is a full time office based position working in our Virginia office.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and maintaining document control systems, workflows and project records
- Coordinating project documentation, reporting, scheduling and administrative activities
- Managing project correspondence, transmittals and deliverables across multiple platforms
- Supporting procurement, logistics, mobilisation and project administration activitiesli>
- Preparing and processing project-related purchase orders
- Assisting with project reporting, cost tracking and invoicing support
- Liaising with clients, suppliers, subcontractors and internal departments to facilitate project delivery
- Supporting compliance, auditing and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintaining accurate project registers, filing systems and records
- Providing professional administrative and coordination support to project teams
Skills and Experience
To be successful in this position, we are seeking candidates with:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a project support and/or document control role
- Experience supporting multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced workplace
- Demonstrated document control experience within EPCM, construction, engineering, telecommunications or related environments
- Strong understanding of project documentation processes, workflows and compliance requirements
- Knowledge of document control systems and the ability to work across multiple platforms
- Experience with project reporting, purchase orders and administrative support functions
- Sound understanding of project lifecycles and basic financial principles
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment
- Current Australian C-Class Driver's Licence & Full Australian working rights
