Rodd & Gunn Pacific Fair Flagship - Assistant Manager +25hrs

Rodd & Gunn is seeking an Assistant Manager for our Pacific Fair Flagship store in Broadbeach, Queensland. This is a part-time position offering 25+ hours per week, providing the flexibility you may be looking for whilst maintaining the opportunity to make a significant impact within our retail environment.

In this role, you will work alongside our Store Manager to drive sales performance, maintain exceptional customer service standards, and create an inspiring shopping experience for our discerning clientele. As a key member of the leadership team, you will play a crucial role in supporting store operations, staff development, and achieving our business objectives at this flagship location.

Key responsibilities

- Support the Store Manager in the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring smooth running of all activities
- Lead, supervise and motivate the sales team to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service
- Manage staff scheduling, training and development to build a high-performing team
- Monitor stock levels, merchandising standards and visual displays to maintain our brand presentation
- Process transactions, handle cash management and maintain accurate financial records
- Assist in implementing promotional campaigns and marketing initiatives
- Maintain compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations and loss prevention procedures
- Build strong relationships with customers, addressing enquiries and resolving complaints professionally
- Conduct regular stocktakes and contribute to inventory management
- Communicate effectively with head office and cross-functional teams to support store performance

What we’re looking for

- Proven retail management experience, ideally within a similar flagship or premium retail environment
- Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
- Excellent sales acumen with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets




- Exceptional customer service skills with a commitment to creating memorable brand experiences
- Proficiency in retail point-of-sale (POS) systems and stock management software
- Strong organisational and time management abilities with the capacity to manage multiple priorities
- Knowledge of the Rodd & Gunn brand, products and values is preferred
- Ability to work flexibly within the retail environment, including weekends and public holidays as required
- A genuine passion for retail, fashion and delivering exceptional experiences
- Communication and problem-solving skills with a positive, can-do attitude
