Advanced Industrial Services (AIS) is a growing industrial maintenance and automation business, and we're looking for an Industrial Electrician to join our team working across South East Queensland.

This role offers hands-on variety, independence on the tools, and the chance to work within a progressive, contemporary business. You'll work directly with the owner, be trusted to manage your work, and have genuine exposure to electrical, automation, and mechanical systems in live industrial environments.

The Role

You'll be involved in day-to-day industrial electrical work including:

- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on a diverse range of industrial machinery and automation systems.
- Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, PLC, and VFD faults.
- Interpret and work from electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to optimise system performance and minimise downtime.
- Support the installation, integration, and commissioning of new control systems and automation upgrades.
- Prospect to assist with mechanical work and AIS actively supports development into broader mechanical, automation and engineering skillsets.

About You

- Minimum 3-5 years of post-apprenticeship industrial electrical experience required.
- Demonstrated expertise in installation, maintenance, and testing procedures for industrial systems.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills across electrical, PLC, and VFD platforms.




- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and thrive in a team environment.
- Commitment to safety best practices and fostering a safe work culture.
- Manual Drivers Licence.
- Current Australian Electrical Licence required (unrestricted).
- Australian citizenship or permanent residency required for this position.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and professionally with customers
