About the role:

This role is responsible for fostering a culture of continuous improvement across KICS Intensive Family Support, Secondary Family Support and Kinship and Foster Care services. The role has three distinct but complementary purposes:

- Support and embed quality management systems and processes that align with relevant quality standards,



legislation, and best practices;
- Ensure the ongoing development, implementation, and maintenance of frameworks that drive operational excellence and compliance;
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by engaging teams and stakeholders in quality-focused initiatives and best-practice methodologies.

The position offers a competitive remuneration (SCHADS level 4 or 5 depending on qualifications and level of experience).

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

- A tertiary level qualification is required and eligibility for membership to a professional body (such as AASW, PACFA, ACA, APS, AAFT, etc) is preferable, along with significant experience in the sector (5 years). It is ideal to have post-graduate qualifications in relevant fields with experience in supervision processes

In addition to:

- Strong, demonstrable experience in informing and designing policy and procedural frameworks within the broader human/ social services sectors
- Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary auditing and related practices, and ability to utilise audit findings to identify organisational risks and opportunities for improvement.
- High level interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to communicate with a broad range of staff, develop effective relationships at all levels of the organisation.
- A valid Provisional Green or above Queensland Drivers Licence.
- Hold a positive notice in the Working with Children Check (Blue Card) or be able to obtain, along with any other legislatively required personal history screening as required.
