Area Protected Products division, Astra Street Furniture, assembles outdoor furniture products such as seats, benches, shelters, tables, bins, bollards etc. You will work alongside other assemblers in a range of process tasks, largely using a variety of power tools.
5 days per week (7.30am-3.30pm, overtime available when required – workload driven)
Based from warehouse in Minchinbury, Western Sydney
Predrilling of timber & aluminium slats
Assembly of timber & aluminium benches & seats, screwing on slats etc
Cutting of timber & aluminium (slats & planks)
Riveting of end caps and other steel items
Assembly of carpark fixtures such as gates, height restriction bars & bollards
Other general assembly, manufacturing or warehouse duties as required
About you!
Prior experience in furniture assembly or similar items is an advantage
Must have experience with power tools (drop saws, cordless drills, etc) and hand tools (rivet guns, screwdrivers, etc)
Forklift license is an advantage
Great attention to detail, produce accurate and quality work – Quality is our #1 value
