About the Role

We are currently seeking x4 experienced Security Officers to fill x2 Full Time roles and x2 Part Time roles.

The right people are professional, reliable, and clear on what good security looks like at all times. Customer interaction is a real part of this role.



You will hold the standard at the site and represent DevSec directly with the client.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct regular foot patrols of the site to deter, detect, and respond to security incidents.

Monitor access control points and manage entry and exit of personnel and visitors

Respond to alarms, incidents, and emergency situations in line with site-specific procedures.

Maintain accurate written records including incident reports, patrol logs, and daily activity reports.

Provide a professional and courteous presence for all persons entering and using the site.

Liaise with building management, emergency services, and DevSec operations as required.

Operate and monitor CCTV, intercom, and access control systems where applicable.

Comply with all relevant legislation, WHS requirements, and site-specific protocols.

Certificate II in Security Operations (Minimum)

Current Queensland Security Licence

Current First Aid Certificate (Minimum HLTAID011 or equivalent)

Current driver's licence

Full working rights in Australia

Professional presentation appropriate for a corporate environment

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Intermediate computer skills and ability to complete digital reporting

Flexibility to complete ad-hoc shifts if required
