Qualified Practice Management Services – Spring Hill QLD

Brisbane Pain Specialists is seeking a highly organised, agile & adaptable, and clinically capable nurse to support a procedural and consult-based service.

This is a hands‑on role where you will be actively involved in both clinical workflows and peri‑procedural care, working directly with a pain specialist across consulting rooms, treatment settings, and theatre coordination.

The Role

End-to-end patient coordination and clinical support responsibilities including:

Clinical Duties

- Pre-operative patient assessments and preparation
- Post-operative follow-up calls and clinical checks
- Assistance during procedures in treatment rooms
- Assisting with patient consultations and documentation
- Maintaining the treatment room

Coordination & Administration

- Theatre list bookings and coordination
- Patient communication (phone queries, follow-ups)
- Supporting WorkCover-related documentation and processes
- Managing PROMs (Pain Outcome Measures) tracking
- Assisting with inpatient ward rounds when required

What You Are Actually Signing Up For

Most applicants underestimate this:

- This is a high-responsibility,

fast-paced environment where initiative and critical thinking are highly valued
- You will be patient-facing and clinically involved, not just administrative
- You will need to manage ambiguity, prioritise independently, and anticipate needs
- You will work across multiple sites (clinic + private hospitals)
- This is not a highly structured, task-based role

About You

- Registered Nurse (RN) or Enrolled Nurse (EN) with AHPRA registration
- Experience in perioperative care, pain management, or procedural settings highly desirable
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously in a specialist practice environment
- Comfortable with patient follow-up, coordination, and clinical multitasking

Why This Role is Different

- Full-time or part-time considered (across weekday clinical operations)
- Exposure to interventional pain procedures and longitudinal care
- A role that blends clinical, procedural, and coordination responsibilities
- Opportunity to help shape workflows in a growing private practice
