This is a unique opportunity for a Consultant General Physician (FRACP) to join a collaborative and supportive Medicine Department delivering high-quality care to a diverse regional population.
About the Role
- Provide inpatient and outpatient care for patients with multiple co-morbidities or undifferentiated illness requiring hospital admission.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based, patient-centred care.
- Contribute to supervision, mentoring, and education of Registrars, Junior Medical Officers, and medical students.
- Participate in the acute general medicine roster, ensuring continuity of high-quality clinical services.
- Engage in service development, clinical governance, and quality improvement initiatives.
Mandatory Criteria
- Primary medical qualification registered or registrable with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP), including advanced training
- Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
