We are a group of psychologists who are committed to providing high quality, evidence-based therapy for children, teens and adults. We are based in Bella Vista, in the northwest of Sydney, and we offer mostly face-to-face therapy, with some telehealth. We are looking for like-minded psychologists to join our team and we currently have a contractor position available.

About the role:

Psychologists at the Northwest Psychology Practice provide assessment and treatment to people across the age range, from children to teens and adults. We're looking for psychologists to join our team who are gifted all-rounders, passionate about working therapeutically with both children and adults. We need someone who is highly skilled in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and also familiar with the latest evidence based treatments (such as DBT, ACT, Schema Therapy, EMDR and mindfulness). We also have an emphasis on providing neuroaffirming treatment and welcome neurodiversity in both our clients and our staff. If you have an interest or expertise in working with particular presenting problems, we'll help you nurture and develop this where possible.

We're seeking empathic and talented clinicians who are skilled at building rapport with clients, committed to evidence-based treatment and passionate about facilitating positive change.

Early career psychologists are welcome to apply for this position.

We want you to be a team player, someone who is great at building working relationships with colleagues and with other health-care providers.

We see clients across the age range so we are looking for psychologists who enjoy working with children,



teens and families as well as adults.

You’ll need to be available to work a minimum of 2 days (12 clients) per week. Our busiest times are from 3pm to 7pm on weekdays and 9am-3pm on Saturday so we prefer candidates who have availability in these hours.

PLEASE NOTE: To be considered, you must be fully registered as a psychologist, with a Medicare provider number.
