About the Role

As a Food & Beverage Duty Manager, you will help lead our front-of-house team across a diverse range of food and beverage experiences at The Lodge Wadjemup.

You will be responsible for overseeing shift operations across Sunsets Bar & Dining, our signature restaurant, Pelican Kiosk, our dedicated Function Centre, and our seasonal Pool Bar, while also supporting a range of exciting events and activations held throughout the year.

This is a hands-on leadership role where no two days are the same. From breakfast service and sunset dining to social events, corporate events, island celebrations and special activations, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

This is a live-on position, with staff accommodation available at a low weekly rent, offering a unique opportunity to live and work on one of Australia's most iconic islands.

What You'll Bring

Current WA Approved Manager's Certificate

Previous experience in a Duty Manager, Floor Manager or Section Manager role

Experience working in a high-volume restaurant, hotel, resort or hospitality venue

Solid leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach and develop a team





Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail

Solid communication and organisational skills

Flexibility, reliability and a positive attitude

Safety & Compliance focus is must

A genuine passion for hospitality and guest service

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

Minimum 2 years' experience in a Duty Manager, Floor Manager or Section Manager role

Proven experience working in a high-volume hospitality environment

Strong stock control and inventory management experience

Experience receiving deliveries and maintaining storage standards

Proficiency with BEPOZ POS system, end-of-day reconciliation and reporting

Ability to lead shifts and make operational decisions with confidence

Full working rights within Australia

Current WA Approved Manager's Certificate (essential)

Current National Police Clearance, or the ability to obtain one

National Police Clearance must be obtained before the start date if not currently held
