MO&Co; Landscapes is seeking a talented and creative Landscape Designer to join our design team. This is a full-time position based in Brisbane, QLD 4000. As a Landscape Designer, you will play a crucial role in conceptualising, designing and developing innovative landscape solutions that transform outdoor spaces for our diverse range of clients. This role is essential to our company's mission of creating beautiful, functional and sustainable landscapes that enhance communities and environments. You will work collaboratively with architects, clients and contractors to bring landscape visions to life, contributing directly to the success and reputation of MO&CO; Landscapes.

Key responsibilities

- Develop creative and practical landscape design concepts that meet client requirements, project briefs and site constraints
- Prepare detailed landscape design drawings, plans and specifications using industry-standard CAD and design software
- Conduct site analysis and assessments to inform design decisions, including evaluation of existing conditions, drainage, soil and environmental factors
- Produce visualisations, 3D renderings and presentation materials to communicate design concepts to clients and stakeholders
- Collaborate with estimators, clients and other consultants to integrate landscape design within broader project frameworks
- Manage design documentation and ensure compliance with relevant standards, codes and environmental regulations
- Liaise with clients throughout the design process to understand needs, incorporate feedback and manage expectations
- Support project teams during construction administration and site supervision to ensure designs are implemented as intended




- Contribute to tender documentation and project proposals
- Stay current with landscape design trends, sustainable practices and industry innovations

What we’re looking for

- Tertiary qualification in Landscape Architecture, Landscape Design or related discipline
- Professional registration or eligibility for registration with relevant industry bodies (desirable)
- Minimum 2-3 years' experience in landscape design practice, ideally within a consultancy or design-focused environment
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software including AutoCAD, NearMap, Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent programs
- Strong visual communication skills with ability to produce clear drawings, plans and 3D visualisations
- Excellent understanding of landscape design principles, plant selection, materials and construction methodologies
- Knowledge of sustainable design practices, environmental considerations and relevant planning regulations
- Strong project management abilities with capacity to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client liaison and team collaboration
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality design outcomes
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to adapt designs to site-specific challenges
