Skilled Labourer – Warehouse Work & Shed Construction

We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Skilled Labourer to join our factory team. This role involves a mix of warehouse duties, including unloading shipping containers and handling incoming product, along with hands-on construction work such as building sheds and structural components. The ideal candidate is hardworking, safety-conscious, and comfortable working both indoors and outdoors.

Key Responsibilities

- Unload shipping containers safely and efficiently, including manual handling and use of equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks (if licensed)
- Sort, check, and store incoming product according to factory procedures
- Assist in the construction and assembly of sheds, including framing, cladding, and fittings
- Read and interpret basic plans or work instructions
- Use hand and power tools safely and correctly
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work area




- Follow all workplace health and safety (WHS) policies and procedures
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production and deadlines
- Perform general labouring duties as required

Skills and Experience

- Previous experience in a factory, warehouse, or construction environment preferred
- Experience with shed building, steel framing, or general construction is highly regarded
- Forklift licence (desirable but not essential; training may be provided)
- Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks, including lifting heavy items
- Good understanding of workplace safety practices
- Ability to work well in a team and take direction
- Reliable, punctual, and a robust work ethic
