RMC Track & Civil, part of Railtrain Holdings Group (RHG) and backed by GenusPlus Group, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Control Officer to join our Queensland team.

Working closely with our operations, project and finance teams, you will support the successful delivery of rail projects by maintaining accurate records, coordinating workforce activities and ensuring project information is captured and managed effectively.

Job requirements

- Maintain accurate timesheet, roster and project cost records
- Reconcile timesheets against rosters, project requirements and invoicing needs
- Support project reporting, cost tracking and financial administration
- Assist with invoice preparation and purchase order management
- Support payroll and finance teams with data queries and discrepancies
- Coordinate onboarding activities, including compliance documentation and record keeping
- Maintain employee records including qualifications, medicals, training and inductions
- Support workforce planning, leave coordination and crew allocations




- Maintain project systems, reports and administrative documentation
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and systems

Job responsibilities

We are looking for someone who is organised, proactive and eager to learn.

You will ideally have:

- Strong administration and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work with a range of stakeholders
- Ability to manage confidential information professionally
- A willingness to learn and develop within a project environment
- Previous experience in administration, payroll, workforce coordination, project support or a similar role (desirable)
- Experience in rail, construction, infrastructure or mining environments (desirable)
- Current C-Class Driver’s Licence
