Diggit Plant Hire is seeking a skilled GPS operator to join our team in Ipswich, Queensland. As a GPS operator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our projects by utilising the latest GPS technology to optimise site operations. This hands-on role offers flexibility and the prospect to work on diverse projects within the Civil / Construction industry.

What you'll be doing

Operating and maintaining GPS equipment on construction sites to provide real-time data and positioning information

Assisting with the setup and calibration of GPS systems to ensure accurate measurements and compliance with project specifications

Interpreting GPS data to provide valuable insights that improve site efficiency and productivity

Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other team members to integrate GPS technology into construction workflows

Conducting regular maintenance and troubleshooting on GPS equipment to ensure optimal performance

Maintaining detailed records and documentation related to GPS usage and data

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a GPS operator in the construction industry, with a solid understanding of GPS technology and its applications





Strong technical skills and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new GPS systems and software

Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and resolve GPS-related issues

Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate data and records

Effective communication skills to liaise with project teams and provide technical support

Truck Licence preferable

Casual to start, but for the right person can lead to Fulltime Employment
