We have an exciting opportunity for a Retail Sales Assistant to join the team at our Forty Winks store in Minyama, QLD on the beautiful Sunshine Coast. This is a full-time position where weekend work is required as we are a 7 day a week business. As a Retail Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our valued clients as they shop for furniture and bedding.
What you'll be doing
- Greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Demonstrating product features and perks to help customers find the perfect items
- Maintaining an organised and visually appealing store environment
- Processing sales transactions and handling cash and payments
- Adhering to all company policies, procedures and safety guidelines
What we're looking for
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service role, preferably in the furniture or bedding industry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for providing excellent customer service
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently as required
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems and cash handling
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and demands
- An eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean, organised store environment
