An opportunity exists at our Doctors at Southport Park practice, for a friendly, professional and dedicated medical receptionist to join our team.

We're looking for someone on a casual basis, approx.16 hours per week, plus a Sunday shift approx. every 3 weeks, along with annual leave and sick leave cover.

What we are looking for:

- Valuable organisational skills
- Superior multi-tasking skills and
- Experience in a similar role within general practiceis preferred.

You will be responsible for:

- Handling ofincoming calls
- Delivery of premium customer service to our patients and clinicians alike
- Booking ofGPand Allied Health appointments
- Receipting of Medicare, HICAPS& some private billings

Demonstrated skills include:

- Experience with Best Practice (preferred)
- Experience in administration within a busy GP surgery (preferred)
- Ableto workunder pressure
- Excellent time management & organisational skills
- Excellent customer service
- Friendly and able to work autonomously as well as part of a team
