Specialised Industrial Maintenance (SIM) is a growing Australian Company who offers Australia wide unique coating solutions to a range of major clients within the Mining, Defence, Oil and Gas, Industrial and Commercial environments.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a person with outstanding motivation and a can-do attitude, to join our Gladstone Team

Experienced Supervisor/Coating/Application Specialists are encouraged to apply, however we are also prepared to provide ongoing training to the “right” person.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:

- Running jobs , overseeing and helping on jobs
- Seek out and cold-call new potential customers
- Grow existing customer accounts and develop new business accounts
- Achievement of monthly invoicing objectives
- Establish and maintain relationships with the existing customer base
- Maintain an accurate customer database
- In office servicing and repairs as required
- Maintaining Stock and good records
- Other appropriate duties as directed
- Administrative tasks relevant to the position
- Responsible for all onsite inductions and planning of upcoming work
- Maintain OHS standards and carry out toolbox meetings as required
- Schedule services on equipment

ABOUT YOU:

Currently residing in Australia

Has full working rights in Australia

Trade Qualifications – well received

Forklift license and white card is preferred

Strong fault finding and problem-solving skills

A strong sense of urgency and a "Iwill make it happen" attitude to get the job done and does not accept no for an answer

Professional sales skills





Excellent verbal and written communication style and computer literacy

Provencustomer rapport and relationship building skills

Must be highly motivated and well presented

Be able to work both autonomously and also be a strong internal team player

Prepared to be hands-on and to assist in operational duties when required

Ability to adapt to working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

You must be punctual, reliable and possess an excellent work ethic

Able to follow instructions and complete tasks unsupervised

Current Drivers License

Ability to pass drug and alcohol testing

A commitment to safe work operations

Be a good “TEAM” Player
