We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established organisation operating within the financial services sector, dedicated to helping everyday Aussies navigate challenging financial circumstances.
This is not your typical high-volume call centre collections role. You'll be responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts, working closely with customers to understand their situations, negotiate sustainable solutions, and support positive financial outcomes.

What You'll Be Doing
- Managing a portfolio of customer accounts via phone, email, and written correspondence
- Having structured, empathetic conversations with customers experiencing financial hardship
- Negotiating and establishing realistic repayment arrangements
- Monitoring account performance and maintaining regular customer contactAssessing customer circumstances and identifying appropriate solutions
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
- Working collaboratively with internal teams to achieve positive customer and business outcomes
What We're Looking For
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly
- Confidence in managing difficult or sensitive conversations professionally and respectfully
- Resilient, self-motivated, and able to remain calm under pressure
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Previous experience in collections, customer service, financial services, contact centres, or account management is highly regarded but not essential
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
