TSM Engineering Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Boilermaker/Fabricator to join our team in Berrinba, Queensland. This full-time role will see you contributing to the production and fabrication of high-quality industrial equipment and components.
What you'll be doing
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
- Cutting, shaping, and assembling metal components using welding, soldering, and other fabrication techniques
- Operating a variety of specialised tools and machinery, including grinders, saws, and power tools
- Performing quality checks and making adjustments to ensure finished products meet required standards
- Collaborating with the engineering team to troubleshoot and resolve any production issues
- Maintaining a safe and organised work environment
What we're looking for
- Formal qualifications in boilermaking, metal fabrication, or a related trade
- Applicants must hold a recognised trade qualification in boilermaking or metal fabrication
- Demonstrated experience as a boilermaker or fabricator, ideally in the manufacturing or engineering industries
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a boilermaker or fabricator is required
- Strong practical skills and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Proficiency in using a range of welding techniques, such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding
- A commitment to workplace safety and quality control
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
